Epic Games has scheduled a downtime for Fortnite v12.30 today. The update adds on to Chapter 2, Season 2 and while Epic has not released any patch notes yet, there is some speculation doing the rounds.
With last weeks v12.21 update, new challenges, rewards and bug fixes were injected to the game. So it's likely that v12.30 as a major update will add more meaty content.
Fornite's community Trello board also mentions bugs that are being fixed with the new update. Trello cards marked with fixed in next update include issues with the Harpoon Gun's loot inconsistency and problems with Auto Pick Up. Spy Games is also getting a fix since players would get stuck at the Select Tech screen. Tournament scores reflecting incorrectly in lobby and in-match are also going to be addressed, including minor issues with Creative Mode, Save The World and mobile versions of the game.
There is also the speculation as to what will be added or taken away from the game, as it is with all Fortnite updates. We'll just have to wait for a few more hours and see.
